Welcome to Conway Centres: Tattenhall

Welcome to Conway Centres: Tattenhall, where you can experience high quality arts and outdoor education, which has the potential to raise achievement, whilst broadening participants’ horizons and enhancing aspects of the National Curriculum. Our experienced and qualified teachers can help you organise a progressive programme of residential or day course activities to meet your desired aims and objectives. Whether you are looking for a bespoke programme of activities, or are interested in one of our packages please call us to discover what we can offer.

Conway Centres: Tattenhall has a strong focus on art, drama and dance given the nature of it's facilities. The site was originally a secondary school; it has large work areas which enable schools to undertake large scale art projects and dance/drama activities. The main building can accommodate 42 students and 5 staff, in 2 student dormitories and 2 staff bedrooms. Length of courses varies from 1 night up to 5 nights. Specialist teachers are available for schools and courses are designed to meet the specific needs of each school. There is a mixture of user groups ranging from Year1 up to GCSE Year 10 and 11.

There is scope for a wide variety of art courses ranging from African art and drumming workshops, to local area studies which incorporate the Tudor influence and architecture of Tattenhall village. There are separate meeting rooms and conference facilities which are used for inset training, in-house training events and other meetings. The large playing field at Tattenhall has a pond, orienteering courses, bug hotels, tree climbing, bouldering wall and low ropes course.
