Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions

DofEAAP.jpeg

As an Expedition Approved Activity Providers (AAPs) we have been licensed by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to provide expedition opportunities to participants. As an Expedition AAP we will have satisfied the DofE that our proposed programmes of activities will meet and adhere to the sectional requirements.

As an Expedition Approved Activity Provider we can train and assess all levels of DofE expeditions in line with the DofE 20 conditions

We can provide all of the equipment your group will need to successfully complete their expedition (tents, stoves, rucksacks roll mats and waterproofs).

We can assist you with risk assessments, Evolve or in-house approval information including maps of the route and camp site information.

All of our staff are Outdoor Education Teachers or Tutors who have a wealth of DofE knowledge which they are able you pass onto the young people they work with.

We work on a remote or direct supervision basis, but will always meet and camp near the group during the evening.

There are no hidden costs the cost we quote per person is the price you will pay.

Walking

The most popular way to complete the expedition section is on foot. Spending time navigating your way through the Hills & Plains of Cheshire, the mountains of the Peak District National Park and the Snowdonia National Park.

Almost no experience necessary is require, only the will to learn and succeed.

This is a great way to complete your expedition.
