Faith Bebbington

Faith is a professional artist based in Liverpool and is a member of the Bridewell Studios and the Black Artists Alliance.  Her permanent artworks can be seen in public settings across the UK.

She enjoys working on community partnership projects with a range of organizations, and is lead artist for Liverpool Lantern Company producing large scale animated sculptural lanterns for performance based outdoor events.

Faith has extensive experience of leading 3D workshops and residencies with primary and secondary schools across the North West; such as ‘Entitlement to the Arts’ an annual scheme with Cheshire primary schools, which she has worked on since 2000.

She is a qualified art teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Art & Design, so develops 3D sculpture projects suitable for Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and also offers INSET sessions for teachers. Faith is happy to devise workshops based on your own topic, or can suggest themed activities such as Citizenship, Global Village, Diversity, Identity, Family, Healthy Living, Arts week or other seasonal activities.

The simple construction techniques she has developed working with newspaper, wire, cardboard and tape enable children and young people of varying abilities to create successful sculptures quickly, either individually or in groups.

Faith has particular experience of, and an interest in working with students with emotional and behavioural challenges, learning difficulties and sensory impairments. Teachers are often surprised and delighted when students achieve incredible results while participating in her workshops.
