If you want inspiration in learning in the Creative and Performing Arts this is the Service for you. The Arts and Outdoor Education Service offers a range of courses tailored to suit the needs of all of our customers. These range from courses designed to raise attainment and enhance the curriculum in schools, to courses which can also be tailored to prepare students for Arts festivals and also help schools raise standards to achieve Arts Mark Status.
Apart from experiential learning the Service also provides Gifted and Talented courses as well as GCSE and A level work. This is accomplished in conjunction with:
- Nationally recognised subject specialists
- Practising artists and designers
- Subject leaders and teachers
And the work takes place;
- In Drama at KS2, KS3, GCSE, A Level and foundation level
- In Visual Art at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level
- In Dance at KS2, KS3, KS4, Regional Youth and teachers INSET
- In Visual Art, Drama and Dance as Inset for Primary and Secondary teachers
- In Literacy at KS2
- In Multi Cultural Arts at KS2 and KS3
- In performance through preparation for Orchestral, Dramatic and Dance productions
- And at all other ages as part of a bespoke service to meet the needs of schools and organisations
