Sample Itinerary for AS/A Level Field Studies Courses

This is a typical example of a four day AS/A Level Geography course:

Day Morning Afternoon Evening
1 Arrive at Conway Centre; Welcome, Center Orientation & lunch Activity Sessions: e.g. Ropes & Zip Wire, Abseiling Preparation work & Skills
2 Dunes - Plant Succession & Management Follow up work & Nightline
3 Rivers - a study of changing hydrological variables & landforms Follow up work & Disco
4 Activity Sessions: Raft building Depart and return to school/college  

Please Note: Course durations vary. We also have two and four day courses. If you want to have a look at alternative study modules, please look at our exemplar modules page. Evening sessions are spent either on follow-up work, led by your course instructor or they can be self staffed and/or a range centre ‘evening’ activities.
