Key Stage 2 Studies

The following is a list of studies suitable for Primary School pupils at Key Stage 2. Most of these studies will take half a day to deliver some can be extended to be full days if required. We provide staff to deliver the individual studies, others can be run by visiting staff as self staffed studies.

Centre Staffed Studies - Geography:

Coast StudyA study of how beaches are formed and what happens to the material on the beach.

Coastal ErosionHow coasts are attacked by waves and tides and how people try and defend the coastline.

Glaciation. Looking and learning about the landscape features associated with past glaciations in the valleys of Snowdonia, in particular Cwm Idwal.

River StudyExamining at the characteristics of rivers and streams and measuring the flow of water in the stream

Rural InvestigationIdentifying the problems associated with living in the countryside and looking into possible.

Village StudyInvestigating the function of a village and identifying changes that have taken place in the village in recent years.
