Highly qualified in many activities I always strive to provide the best possible teaching of outdoor activities. My work experience includes the National Mountain Centre and the Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand, I began working at Conway Centres: Anglesey in 1998. I enjoy teaching a whole variety of age ranges and abilities and most of all enjoy seeing others overcome fears, gain a sense of achievement and develop personal lifetime skills. As well as teaching on residential and day courses at the centre I also course direct and teach on Bangor University Sports Science Landbased and Expedition Modules.  These modules are run through Conway Centres: Anglesey. I regularly organise, train and assess NGB courses such as Climbing Wall Awards and Mountain Leader (Summer) Awards for others wanting to be come qualified in the outdoor learning sector  My qualifications  include PGCE Outdoor Activities (Sec.), BA Environmental Studies,  Mountain Instructor Certificate (MIC),  Accredited Practitioner of Outdoor Learning (APIOL), Dinghy Instructor,  BCU Level 3, 5 star training in all paddle disciplines. My hobbies include rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, hill walking, surfing, kayak surfing, white water and sea kayaking, open canoeing, sailing, camping, expeditions, cycling to name but a few!
