Jill Reinsch

Having many childhood memories of being in the outdoor environment, it appeared natural to me to pursue a career that involves outdoor adventurous activities and the opportunity to use these activities as vehicle for education and pass on my passion. I enjoy any activity that involves being in the mountains, or on the water; from walking and climbing to sailing and triathlons. I started volunteering at Conway Centres: Angelsey in 2009 during my time at Bangor University where I was studying for a degree in Sports Science (Outdoor Activities). Through a combination of this teaching experience, my personal outdoor experience and academic drive (through completion of my Masters degree) I feel a true enthusiasm to offer children and adults the chance to challenge themselves and promote the wonders and excitement of the outdoor environment. My outdoor qualifications to date include the Single Pitch Award, Summer Mountain Leader Award and Winter Mountain Leader Training and I aim to continue my personal development as an outdoor education teacher through completion of a PGCE at Bangor University commencing in September 2012.
