About Us - Conway Centres: Anglesey

Conway Centres: Anglesey is a large, short term, residential arts and outdoor education facility set in idyllic surroundings on the Island of Anglesey, North Wales.

At Conway Centres: Anglesey, you can experience high quality arts and outdoor education, which has the potential to raise attainment, whilst broadening participants’ horizons and enhancing aspects of the National Curriculum. Our experienced and qualified teachers can help you organise a progressive programme of residential or day course activities to meet your desired aims and objectives. Whether you are looking for a bespoke programme of activities, or are interested in one of our packages please call us to discover what we can offer.

Conway Centres: Anglesey occupies 169 acres of National Trust parkland and gardens which extend down to the Menai Strait. It is housed in a complex of buildings on this Grade 1* listed site. More than 18,000 pupils and teachers are accommodated at the centre each year for short-stay courses ranging in length from one night to ten nights duration. In addition over 3,000 young people and adults attend the Centre each year for day courses. Over 300,000 pupils have experienced residential education at the centre since its creation. Conway Centres: Anglesey is operational throughout the year and caters for an age range from 7 year olds to adults in a variety of different types of accommodation. It now has 420 beds on site making it one of the largest residential arts and outdoor education centres in the United Kingdom.

"We've been running residential trips for over 20 years and Conway Centres: Anglesey is far and away the best site we've used. Apart from the stunning setting, the accommodation is ideal - there is a huge indoor and outdoor programming space, great facilities and activities. But most importantly the staff are warm, friendly and extremely professional, as well as being able to accommodate all our needs and requests - no matter how bizarre! I cannot recommend this centre highly enough!"
